In the October 2017 Issue of the California Grapevine, several Ridge wines received scores of 90+ points.

2015 Lytton Springs – 90 Points
“Medium-dark ruby; attractive, ripe, briary, slightly jammy, red and black berry fruit aroma with herbal notes and hints of vanilla and black peppercorn; full body; rich, ripe, briary, black cherry and blackberry fruit flavors with good depth and acid balance; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Appealing to drink now, though also worthy of further bottle aging. Very highly recommended.”

2015 Ponzo Zinfandel – 90 Points
“Medium-dark ruby; big, rich, deep, jammy, blue and blackberry fruit aroma with spicy and peppery notes; full body; rich, ripe, blackberry fruit flavors with good depth and concentration; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows forward, accessible fruit that is appealing to drink now and also worthy of further bottle aging. Very highly recommended.”

2015 Pagani Ranch Zinfandel – 92 Points
“Medium-dark ruby; attractive, deep, ripe, spicy, jammy, blueberry and blackberry fruit aroma with hints of black pepper and bacon fat; full body; big, forward, rich, ripe, mouth-filling, dark berry fruit flavors; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended, though marked down by some tasters for hints of volatile acidity and a slight prunish character.”
