With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we thought it a fitting time to celebrate all of the women of RIDGE, whether they’re moms or not. From vineyard team to customer service and everything in between, these are the women that make RIDGE possible. Read on to find out how RIDGE has influenced each of their lives and what they enjoy doing outside of work.

Will, Payroll Manager

“Moms come in many forms and play many roles in a kids life. I’ve been a step mom/coach/best buddy to this guy from his first year in Little League to this final year, before High School.”

Lisa, Hospitality Coordinator at Monte Bello

“I love to cook and create fun cocktails. Visiting different wineries and wine tasting is a favorite pastime, as is playing with my critters and hanging out with my family. I was laid off from the wine industry during the pandemic and Ridge got me back into it. The training is phenomenal and the generosity of the company and its people makes me want to do better.”

Natalie, Customer Service & Monte Bello Tasting Room

“I started in 2018 in the tasting room and was promoted to Assistant Manager. My family and I relocated to the Midwest in 2020. I reached out to Ridge last June and they hired me back. My kids spent a lot of time on the mountain. Bruno’s wife, Eli, was their caretaker while I was working. They loved being up there. Knowing they were close by and being loved and well taken care of gave me a great sense of comfort.”

Carolyn, Monte Bello Tasting Room

Carolyn is a bit of a fanatic when it comes to good food and fabulous wines. A WSET Level III holder, she likes to balance these indulgences with hiking and motorcycle touring in the Bay Area, Europe, and beyond. Getting the opportunity to work high up in the hills and enjoy the views is a little slice of heaven.

Mary, International Sales Coordinator & Export Administrator

“I started with Ridge 8 years ago on the Direct to Consumer and Wine Club Sales team. Three years ago, I moved to the Export Wholesale side of the business.  I grew up in Napa Valley and have worked in the wine & hospitality industry for 25+ years.  When my partner and I moved to Silicon Valley 13 years ago, Ridge seemed a perfect fit.  I am honored to work with such an amazing company. I can now say I have worked for three wineries involved in the Judgement of Paris, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Clos du Val and now, my favorite, Ridge Vineyards.  I love the opportunities Ridge has afforded me. We have so many wonderful members as well as all the Importers I work so closely with.  I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with this organization and all the wonderful people that make up the Ridge Family.”

“I started with Ridge in 2003 as Part-time and in 2006 as Full-time. My current title is Senior Manager, DTC Operations. My father, who worked at Ridge for 25 years and has now retired, introduced me to Ridge. I am a first-generation graduate and while pursuing my degree, Ridge was supportive of my education.  I currently manage and oversee Direct-to-Consumer operations – I am pleased that Ridge allows me to develop and grow within the company. I am also thankful for Ridge who has been accommodating while I balance my work and personal life as I raise my family.”
