In the spirit of celebrating our 60th anniversary, we want to thank all of our loyal customers who have made Ridge what it is today and wish you a joyful holiday season. Our gift offerings this year include Ridge classics, library wines, and limited bottlings perfect for celebrating the season. And, this year’s holiday pairing feast features recipes from some of our first Ridge dinners at Chez Panisse restaurant nearly six decades ago. We hope you find the time to give them a try and enjoy the spirit of the season.
From iconic bottlings like Monte Bello Cabernet and Geyserville Zinfandel to unique offerings like Jimsomare Zinfandel and Besson Grenache, there’s something for everyone in this year’s holiday gift packs!
Each year as our flagship holiday offering, we pair six wines with a multi-course meal celebrating some of our favorite holiday recipes. This year’s recipes are directly inspired by Ridge’s longstanding relationship with Chez Panisse.
“In my early days as Ridge’s winemaker and board member, I suggested to the founders that we should start a tradition of taking ourselves to the admired Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley for an annual directors’ dinner. Chez Panisse founder Alice Waters later published some of these Ridge dinners in a book of her favorite menus. In celebration of Ridge’s 60th anniversary we are revisiting dishes from these storied Chez Panisse dinners for this year’s holiday pairing feast.”
—Paul Draper, Chairman of the Board
