60th Anniversary Wine Auction

Ridge Vineyards is pleased to be partnering with Christie’s auction house in London for a special 60th-anniversary sale. This unique collection of 60 lots celebrates our flagship wines – Monte Bello, Lytton Springs, and Geyserville – and other single-vineyard wines that Ridge has championed since our founding in 1962.

These curated lots include selections from our library spanning six decades, highlighted by the 1999 Geyserville & Lytton Springs and Monte Bello back to our early days, including the 1964 vintage. All of the wines from these 60 lots have been cellared with us since their bottling.

In the spirit of celebrating our Diamond Jubilee, all proceeds from the first lot—#308—will be donated to World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization that provides meals and support in response to global humanitarian, climate, and community crises. Ridge will also match the proceeds from lot #308 to World Central Kitchen.

“This historic collaboration with Christie’s Auction House and World Central Kitchen is the culmination of our celebration. It is fitting that we’re partnering with Christie’s to host the auction in the UK, where Paul Draper sold Ridge’s first international shipment to Averys Wine Merchant in Bristol, England, in 1974,” notes Ryan Johnson, Director of Marketing.
