Ridge Vineyards is lucky to be part of two major California communities: Sonoma County and the Silicon Valley Bay Area. Through charitable donations that align with our core values, Ridge Vineyards supports organizations that sustain our local communities. We focus our giving in the areas of education, health, community services, and the arts. 

Ways We’re Giving Back to Our Communities

Sonoma County Wine Auction

The Sonoma County Wine Auction (SCWA) Online Auction will be held November 17 – December 8, 2023 for wine lovers to bid and make a difference in Sonoma County from anywhere in the world.

Ridge Vineyards has donated the following lot of seven magnums (plus a winemaker tour & tasting for up to 8 guests):

During the SCWA Online Auction, you’ll also have the opportunity to donate to the 2023 Sonoma County Wine Auction Fund-A-Need via the Greater Giving platform, which provides impactful assistance for children’s education and literacy while also addressing new challenges our county faces.

Second Harvest & Redwood Empire Food Banks

This year, our Diversity Committee‘s Charitable Giving team introduced a company policy in which employees receive paid hours off to support our local communities. The committee has arranged donations and volunteer days for various organizations.

By hosting virtual food drives, we help ensure neighbors in our community have reliable access to nutritious groceries and can make room for other necessities. We’ve set up donation pages with Second Harvest Food Bank, which serves the Santa Clara & San Mateo Counties, and Redwood Empire Food Bank, which serves the Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt & Del Norte counties.
