The following are wholesale resources and marketing materials for our Spring 2025 Releases. Additional information relating to the individual wines can also be found on their respective wine pages. This year stands out as one of the longest
and coolest growing seasons in recent years.
A drawn out harvest resulted in a wine that
preserves varietal character while promoting
the mineral and citrus accents typical of the
vineyard. After barrel fermentation, the wine
spent a further nine months on the lees.
Enjoyable now, this mountain-grown
chardonnay will evolve over the next eight
years. JO (12/24)
Since 1967, and our first zinfandel from the
Dusi Ranch, it is typically the first vineyard
picked, a harbinger that harvest has begun.
In 2023, however, despite warm spring
weather, cooler summer temperatures
persisted through September, resulting in one
of the latest harvests here in the last 40 years.
This cool weather during ripening did help
retain acidity. Fruit forward and sumptuous,
this exemplary zinfandel is best enjoyed on
release and over the next five years.

In 1999, we planted this twenty-acre parcel
to zinfandel. As the vineyard has matured,
depth and complexity of flavor have
increased. After plentiful winter rain, the
vines set a full crop. Each parcel was crushed
and fermented separately. In blind tasting,
seven of the blocks were selected for this
wine. A perfect example of both varietal and
site, this classic zinfandel will be at its best
over the next seven years. SR (11/24)
Heavy winter rains replenished groundwater.
Moderate temperatures during the
growing season were followed by cooler
weather in August and September that
pushed harvest late into October. The
extended ripening period resulted in a
wine with dark fruit and supple tannins
balanced by beautiful acidity. Enjoyable
now, this classic field blend will continue to
evolve over the next ten years. JO (12/24)
Since its inception, Ridge has focused on
single vineyard wines. Three Valleys, a
careful combining of parcels from complementary
vineyards, is the exception. Moderate
summer temperatures allowed the fruit
to mature slowly and develop deep flavors
for which Sonoma is known. Enjoyable now,
this wine will continue to develop over the
next five years. SR (6/24)
A dry, mild winter resulted in limited
yields, and a warm summer ripened the
small crop evenly. On Labor Day, an
intense heat wave accelerated ripening for
an early harvest. The wine showed
appealing fruit and firm tannins. In tasting,
the wines most typical of the Estate style
were selected. This excellent vintage was
barrel-aged for an extended twenty-two
months to fully integrate the tannins.
Enjoyable now, it will reach full maturity in
ten to fifteen years. TG (4/24)
